Vegan coconut and strawberry bliss balls to banish sugar cravings

Healthy snacking just became easier with these simple coconut and strawberry bliss balls. They’re packed with antioxidant-rich strawberries, high-fibre oats and healthy fats from nut butter. The chia seeds will give you a boost of omega-3, too, to balance out your cholesterol levels.

They’re perfect to make ahead and keep them in the fridge for the perfect post-workout snack, or when those 3pm munchies hit.

Strawberry bliss balls

Makes about 20 balls



  • 200g Queensland strawberries, hulled
  • 1 tablespoon strawberry syrup (optional)
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut plus a little extra for rolling
  • ¾ cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon nut butter
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • Large pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or chopped toasted nuts


1. Place all of the ingredients into a food processor.

2. Process until the mixture comes together.

3. If the mix is too sticky add a little more desiccated coconut.

4. Roll into balls and coat in coconut.

5. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for two to three days.


  • You can make these balls with oven-dried strawberries which have a more intense flavour and a slightly chewy texture
  • Try one of the other nut butters like pistachio or almond as a fresh change from peanut butter
