the yoga and activewear brand beloved by J Lo, Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadid

A new cult favourite yoga brand has been doing the rounds on Instagram, and we’re here to give you the lowdown on why everyone’s so obsessed. And which pieces to get your hands on first.

J Lo, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Garner, Halle Berry, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Hailey Bieber, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Ariana Grande, Mel B, Lady Gaga… what do all these celebrities have in common?

They’ve all been spotted wearing Alo Yoga, the activewear brand that’s about to become your latest WFH-wardrobe obsession.

All over the Internet are pictures of celebs decked out in Alo attire, whether they’re slaying a workout, out and about, or just relaxing at home. It’s piqued our interest, and probably yours too – so we dove into the obsession to discover what’s got everyone hooked on the brand.

What’s the deal?

Alo Yoga aren’t exactly new – in fact, they’ve been around since 2007! The Los Angeles-based brand aims to spread the love of yoga worldwide, via their wide range of women’s and men’s activewear. And when I say the range is wide, I mean it is WIDE. They’ve essentially made themselves a one-stop fitness shop, which explains their cult following.

If you’re into the “athleisure” trend (and who isn’t?) then you’ll appreciate their fashion-forward styles. Think flattering and comfy bras, mesh cutout leggings with matching hoodies, and track pants you could actually wear outside the house – all of which come in a range of modern colours and prints.

Their range of active and leisurewear encompasses everything from leggings, to jackets, and even all the way to shoes. You could basically get a whole new wardrobe from their site – I mean, they even sell yoga mats, drink bottles, backpacks and other accessories. The list goes on, and on.

Alo also offers an online subscription to yoga, fitness and meditation classes (which you can try for 14 days free, here). And nope, that’s not all – they’ve also got a completely free offering of Scholastic-approved yoga and mindfulness videos for kids.

Can Australians get in on Alo?

Usually, with all this good news, there’s a catch. Generally, for us Australians, it’s that you either can’t buy any of the products in Australia – or in the rare cases that you can, you have to sacrifice a small fortune to pay for shipping.

But for Alo Yoga, it looks like there just … isn’t a catch. In fact, they ship almost anywhere in the world for free, and it only takes one to seven business days.
